An Air Cooled Heat Exchanger is a heat transfer equipment used to cool process fluids by using atmospheric air instead of water as the cooling medium. It consists of finned tubes, headers, fans, and a structural frame. Hot fluid flows through the tubes while fans force ambient air over the finned surface to remove heat from the fluid.

These heat exchangers are widely used in industries such as oil & gas, petrochemical, power plants, refineries, and chemical processing plants where water availability is limited or water conservation is required.
